Professor Pedro Ochôa

He graduated (1984) and Doctor (PhD) in Forestry (2000) at UTL-ISA (Lisbon). Assistant Professor at the Agronomy Institute, University of Lisbon (ISA/UL).
Lecturing classes of Forest Policy and Governance, Sustainable Development and Forest Certification and Silvicultural and agroforestry systems (including tropical systems), Forest Operations (Graduation and MSc degrees).
Main research activity has been directed to Collaborative Multifunctional Forest Management and Certification but currently working on research concerning Policy Change with Forests Policies and Governance as object of study.

Brigite received the PhD degree in Forestry and Natural Resources in 2015 at School of Agriculture (ISA), University of Lisboa.
Her research interests are: Fire behaviour modelling, fire simulation analysis, Fire-adapted silviculture, Forest management planning, Trade-offs analysis, ecosystem services assessment as response to climate change and forest management models/dynamics.
